Plains LPG Operations group is currently looking to fill the position of Facility Supervisor located in Tirzah, South Carolina.
The successful candidate will be accountable to the District Manager for managing all aspects of the Plains LPG gas liquids rock cavern storage and truck terminal. The individual will be required to provide operational and technical support for staff to ensure key responsibilities around facilities operational costs, production, quality and EH&S objectives are met while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the LPG storage terminal and truck terminal;
- Oversee truck loading/unloading facilities, maintenance and terminal operations at the facility;
- Manage a multitude of priorities and direct staff in a fast paced and changing environment;
- Process optimization including policy and procedure development, implementation and enforcement.
Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable of LPG storage loading facility operations with 10 years experience, or an engineering degree (B. Science) with 5-10 years of engineering, plant processing/bulk storage and terminal experience;
- Familiarity of environmental and governmental regulations is required;
- Solid experience with LPG operations compliance with PSM safety regulations;
- Knowledge of DOT pipeline Operations; cavern petroleum storage experience would be a an asset;
- Energetic, well-organized, self-motivated with effective communications skills;
- Advanced computer skills (MS Word/Excel); edge and troubleshooting skills;
- Excellent interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to interact and effectively direct employees within and outside the facility;
- Strong computer skills with extensive Excel experience;
- Self motivated with high energy and ability to self direct.
