LPG Truck Transportation Analyst

The primary role of the Analyst, LPG Trucking is to provide business analyses and reports to assist in the optimization of staff and resources.  This is an integral role in the department where a high level of interaction with Superintendents and Supervisors is expected. This position reports to the Director, LPG Truck Transportation.

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Track all operating costs and revenue trends;
  • Prepare financial estimates;
  • Calculate specific freight rates for internal and external customers;
  • Manage customers, vendors and routes in the trucking software;
  • Coordinate the preparation and validation of customer invoices and lease operator payments;
  • Perform operational/financial forensics, recommending pricing and cost management strategies;
  • Monitor and report people/asset utilization metrics;
  • Complete Accounts Payable invoices, secure FAA approvals and manage AR/AP enquiries.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Recent graduate of the Bachelor of Commerce program;
  • Ability to achieve in a quantitative environment;
  • Highly motivated with well developed communication skills;
  • Team player and a responsible individual who takes initiative/ownership in all areas of work;
  • Has demonstrated analytical and computer skills (specifically Microsoft Excel);
