Plains is looking for a motivated Meter Prover to be based out of our Kerrobert location.
Responsibilities:
- Daily operation of the meter prover and all associated equipment;
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies/procedures as they pertain to this position.
Qualifications:
- Preference will be given to applicants with related pipeline and meter proving experience;
- Minimum Grade XII education required;
- Post secondary technical training including electrical, instrumentation or mechanical would be an asset;
- Possess an electrical/mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot measurement related problems;
- A valid Driver’s License is a condition of employment with the expectation of upgrading to a Class 1 license with air;
- Must be self-motivated and energetic with effective written/verbal communication skills.
